ADHD Care Team
An optimal ADHD care team includes information from everyone involved in the care of the child or adolescent. This includes the patient, parents, teachers, the PCC, therapists, subspecialists, and other adults (such as coaches or community leaders) who are actively engaged in supporting and monitoring the treatment of ADHD.
Ideally, the team uses an integrated shared plan of care, and permitted members of the team have access to the same information and can build upon the care plan. Continuous, collaborative, bidirectional communication among team members is critical for informing, adjusting, or maintaining the treatment plan.
