Evaluating growth for patients birth through 23 months:

Step 1:  Record the date and exact age of child.

Step 2:  Calculate and document the following measurements:

• Weight for length
• Head circumference
• Length for age
• Weight for age

Step 3:  Plot on appropriate age and gender WHO growth charts.

Step 4:  Note and compare the percentiles using the appropriate age and gender data tables.
