Validated Tool
Several standardized self-administered questionnaires have been developed to quantify the level of asthma control based on recollection of recent asthma events. The tools help evaluate day and nighttime symptoms, activity limitations, and rescue bronchodilator use. They help measure the adequacy of asthma control and change in asthma control, which occurs either spontaneously or as a result of treatment.
