Track Summaries

This course has 2 tracks. Each track has a separate data collection tool. For both tracks, you will collect and analyze data, identify gaps in care, and create and implement improvement plans to close identified gaps.

• Generalist. This track specifically measures charts of patients over 1 year of age diagnosed with asthma and seen in the pediatric outpatient setting.
• Hospitalist. This track specifically measures charts of patients over 1 year of age seen for an asthma exacerbation in the hospital or acute care facility.

Both tracks are eligible for Maintenance of Certification Part 4 from the American Board of Pediatrics. You may complete and claim points for one or both tracks.
